The top 15 in SS am all where sub 2:98 way to go guys!!! Y'all ain't making it easy to make in the finals of the MOTM... I see some of the new guys up there to great job!!!/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

It will be interesting to look at the lane results once they are posted. Any preliminary opinions on which of the four lanes is fastest, and which slowest. In the past, my cars always favored Blue 1st, and Black second. White was worst. But that was in the past.

Nationals the red lane was my fastest and blue my worst. This time it was opposite.

*correction...best lanes were vice versa for both events. Red was my best this time.

I agree the level of competition is very solid. But just to clarify, the top 15 cars were all sub 2.98 sec. BUT, the 15th fastest builder was a little above that at 2.9844. So your (Chump Change) best car was 18th fastest, but that makes you the 12th fastest builder (taking the best car time for each builder).

As for myself: BOO HOO
wah
, I was the slowest builder amongst this solid group of cars with a best car (my only one) at 2.9953 sec average. Well it was only my second attempt, and despite the track being faster, I think I did pick up a smidgen of speed in this result versus May.

Here's a question for you: what is the difference between your two faster cars and "Live Wire", which my car actually outran??

Looking at the May results, I would have been in 5th place if I ran the same time back then. Likely a combo of faster cars and track.

It is really weird. When setting the track up I only had .001 variation across the lanes.

That is likely true. But, as someone stated, the variation is due to traffic. It is also depends on the car beside you and how dirty the air got on your car.
