Not sure how often (if any) it happens where cars come in over weight, and I'd be surprised that ours are over.

But you never know between scales and given we're new to proxy racing who knows.

Anyhow, is there a process on how that's handled? I'd hate to end up on the sidelines so feel free to grab a bit and make some holes.

One thing that many racers do is bring the car up to final weight with X amount of tungsten putty that is easily accessible. That way if it is a tad over a small pinch off the putty and it should be OK.

Thanks Stonecold. I had totally forgot about the putty. I just got turned on to it and picked some up from DD4H and had used a small amount to bring the weight up.
