I'm a little confused about how to polish axles with the zero friction axle polish kit when including the next level axle polish. Instructions for the next level polish say to use it as the final step with a polishing cloth. However, the zero friction kit on DD4H website say to use the next level polish instead of water for the ultimate prep. Is this just an over and above extreme option or is this how it is meant to be applied?

Use it with polishing cloth after you have worked your axles over with the various grades of sandpaper first.....such as the dd4h axle polish kit. Water is only used to soak the strips of sandpaper used for initial axle prep. After that clean axles of with Windex and a lint free cloth (eye glasses cloth) Last step is the next level polish with the cloth and a final cleaning.
I am confused with this as well and in fact, substituted water with the Next Level polish the first time i used this method.
