Thanks again to everyone for your help along the way. My son took 3rd in the District Webelos race yesterday out of 25 racers. We were also able to exact some revenge on our pack champion, who did not place. Using Rage Extreme wheels and axles, transferring more weight to the back (more aggressive COM) and using the wheel and axle polishing protocols from DD4H, we made our car a little faster than when we had our pack race back in January. This was the police car we made, complete with flashing lights.
We have now set our sights on making a car for next year that will blow the competition away. For now, we are celebrating the memory that my son and I will share for a lifetime. We could not have done it without DD4H and all of you fine and crazy racers on this forum. YOU ROCK!!
