44 too tight and 43 too loose

Ok, what are you guys using to relieve the holes? I probably need to buy some good 43s and sand them down a bit!
 
The most economical way is to use a axle of the same size. For instance for DD4H 92's which measure 91 at the tip, I use a retired 91 to relieve the hole . You can cut the head off and insert in a pinvise and work it in and out. You can purchace a proper size reamer. Or you can purchase a gauge pin of the proper size. But the cheapest way is the first option.

So the idea is to work it in and open up the hole to just the size of the axle so it fits snug, but still leaves the same angle of the drilled hole. Correct?
