+1
Congrats Bullet
You really found some speed recently.
Hogans is making a play for a few classes.
Great work

Thanks, Joe! Credit goes to all the folks that have posted on the forum.

I researched as much as possible here, tried to study my car runs from the last couple races, and added a personal touch or two. Hopefully I can hang on to it, and its not just dumb luck! I tried to lose it in the SS Am finals but one car luckily held up. lol

There were a lot of other fast racers out there that picked up some speed also...great job by Hurricrane, Eliminator, Opa, Ice and all the other guys who sent cars in!

As the normal for me no sub 3 badge yet. I had one car close but no cigar.

I don't know how they are doing it myself, especially in the BASX class. My hat is off to Bullet, who does not even have a track, yet put down a time rivaling my SS entry. John slaughtered my SS entry with his BASX. I'm missing something somewhere, but I keep building and get a hair faster each time. I will say I noticed you only raced BASX. The lighter wheels and fenders in the SS class seems to increase your speed by 15 to 18 1000ths. Your car, "Amped Up", ran 3.0024, so you can easily go sub 3 with just a few parts. Its well within your reach.

Missed the sub3 badge by a hair. 3.0001

Still had some wobble in traffic. Not sure whether to add more steer or back off my COM. Thinking of going to 2 rows of 5 or maybe try putting some into the wheels. Now that I have all the good parts I need to think more about tuning. Not really sure how much more I can gain with this prep

Thanks Kinser!

One win in Am (by about thou only) and a long road ahead to be considered on the same planet as you! BTW, are we doing a badge for the class winners like the last series? Would be really cool to get my first one for a win! /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

Good job 561 you did it. Now tell me how it's done. Haha just playing. Congrats.

I followed the post from minion after nationals, pretty much to the tee. First time using a tuning board as well. Now I'm thinking about adding the puma weights to see if I can go sub 2.98.
