Axles- final polish for graphite

In the process of helping a friend build a car and it is a graphite only race with no axle grooves allowed. Plan on Red Rocketing the bore and then burnishing in graphite once it's cured. I would like to spray the axles with pledge but heard it has a short window so am looking into other options, I seem to recall a thread where Red Rocket was buffed into the axle with good results. Anyone have any experience doing this? How about Jig or blue can on axles for graphite-? Thanks

It does not have a short window. Just do a final cleaning with Pledge and you will be good to go.

what if you don't have red rocket ? Can I use something else, then use pledge ?

I believe you can use legends wax as a substitute. It's not as good as red rocket though.
