Spent a lot of time cleaning and organizing my PWD area the last two nights. Decided that 2nd Hand Smoke, my very first and best SS car needs to come out of retirement. She got me a 2nd overall finish in the Novice class. Time to see how she will race against the pro's.

When I wrote this post I was a bit frustrated with my cars that I could not get them to be competitive. I haven't been real motivated lately and the race results bear that out. 2nd Hand Smoke is going to stay on the display stand on the shelf next to the trophy I got racing the car. It's a sweet car but she needs to stay retired.

I need to go back to the workbench and build some cars to get better. If all goes well I should have a new SS and SP car for the August race.

Heya Mr B,

I feel your frustration brother.

I have even gone as far as pulling a car from retirement, throwing a prep and tune on it and racing it as a last minute entry. It didn't do very well on the track.

Like you, I go back to the bench and build another car... then I go head to head at home trying to beat the junk that I already have built... LOL

OH CRAP! I just looked at the schedule and found that I better get working if I am going to ship cars off in less than three weeks.

Find your motivation Mr B! I will be trying to get mine going too!

ok

I'm with you Steve and Jay, I pulled a car out of retirement this past race to fill a spot. It was a good car when I retired it, but it just didn't seem to have it this time around, fresh prep and all. It goes back on the shelf and now it's time to finish the other car that was meant to race.
