Guys John will get it all updated. I believe he will have to re-evalutate the badge requirements due to the fine tuning of the new track. IMHO the track is running between .010 to .015 faster than February.
whatched the feb race, then march race, didn't know about the new track till today.explains the time gain between the two races but it didnt seem to be the same gain in all the classes,why would the unlimited class not have the same gain that the SS had?
I don't know but my car was slower this month than last month. Maybe needed some prep work. Oh well I will get it figured out and bounce back.
New to this forum but if you installed a new track and/or timer wouldn't all the different catagories of cars be faster or slower across the board? Hope this question doesn't show what little I know about pinewood derby.

There was no new track installed. It was a new timer and the times were consistant across all lanes.
I sent Quicktime a PM after his awesome performance !!!!! I also wondered why the ELIM and UNLIM times were not faster compared to last months times, since the SS and SP were so much faster. He explained to me that between the SP and ELIM races they found a problem with the starting gate and made a repair. Which made a correction almost back to normal , a little bit slower than we are use to, but I think will be the normal times for future races on the new track and new timer....and as Kinser says the new track seems to be more consistant across the board now. I will miss that "BLUE" lane for sure
and I will not miss the "RED" lane......SPIRIT......[ correct me if I am wrong JOHN ]

All true, except no new track just a new timer. The SS and SP times were faster but they still remained consistant.

Sorry I was under the impression the track was being changed. The track and race feed are second to none. The videos are the best as well.......looking forward to next month. I hope I can have a repeat performance.
Like I said I was slower this month. Last month I was consistent in the 2.99. But this month 3.01 like I said maybe needed to prep a little better. Come back next month.
About ..the badge question.... I was just hoping to get that.....SUB 3.00 off My wall ....lol I wasn't trying to rush anything. I understand that John has his hands full...and does a great job.
Because of the goofy changes this month everyone will need to add .013 to their times and that is how the badges will be awarded. The track is now back to where it was so it will be fine going forward. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU EARNED A BADGE BY PM AND I WILL AWARD IT TO YOU!!!!
Got my new Sub 2.98 badge and I'm pretty damn happy about it! Thanks to all you guys for a great league, awesome advice and a place to race these "sticks with wheels" (as my wife says)!
