BASX rules and Puma Racing Weights

IMHO the BASX class should be made as simple and cheap as possible, mostly to encourage more Cub Scouts and their dads submit cars that they have been raceing in BSA events.

In a future year, change the rules so this class is super inexpensive. I even support the elimination of tungsten in this class, or some other class name. In fact, I think that the car's body height should be at least one inch high. Look at the last BASX race in July at my car "School Bus". Something similar to that is what I would like to see in a class. Quick and cheap.

If that happens I'll need a clarification of "inside" then. Is the edge "inside"?

Only if it's the inside edge... then we are on the same page.

Sorry to belabor this subject, but I am just finishing up my new BASX car for Sept race.
I am leaving the country in a week, so it has to be done by this week end.

My car is:

1. Using Puma weights (i.e. in side of the wheels)
2. Using a 2.4g PineCar wheel as the NDFW.
3. Using a plastic covering on the NDFW wheel empty side.

Am I OK?
