If you are not rail riding what benefits do you get from have bent axles on the rear wheels vs straight axles on the rear wheels.
I get having the bent axle for a steering wheel. If all steps are followed for removing burs and flash marks for the axles do you gain a significant amount of speed by bending or is more based on less friction?
Speaking of wheels is it better to remove the step on the outer hub with the pro wheel shaver or to leave the step and sand it smooth? It seems to me that having the step would reduce wobble on a wheel.
