Dang, I took over the track for my Pack and I just put a square to a bunch of ends and it is sad!! Not only horizontal but Vertical on a few single pieces . Almost need to take it to a place and have it squared or make my own jig. Anyone encounter this or try to fix it?

I'm thinking a 2x4 squared with sand paper glued to it and mounting a orbital sander to it. Setup a large Jig to hold the track squaring the 2x4.

Before you take a file or sandpaper to it, make sure the track sections are put together properly. There are ridges and channels on the sides so that the track lanes join together tightly. With there being some vertical difference between tracks, my initial thought is that there are sections that have ridge against ridge.

As to the alignment/squaring of the ends, I have resigned myself to getting the curve section as square as possible, and then aligning each lane based on that. The start gate and the timing lights are all on straight pieces, so any slight difference in the track will not effect overall timing. Of course, if you have the tools and the skills...

Have you tried downloading the instructions from Besttrack and putting it together how they instruct?
IMHO i would speak with them first before u start making a jig or finding someone with the proper tools.

Thanks Guys, I'll give them a call but its kind of disheartening. When you put a square on a single track on a end cut and its neither square verticle or horizontal no matter who you call or what directions you read it will not be right.
