Gulfport Ms.
Don't let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment , that was known as Camelot.
Best way to cross the desert.......Camel
Why......water retension
Fastest way down a 42' Aluminum Track....PWD Car
Why.......Holy Water
How much or how less and how to apply ? It's a legitimate question.......RRR

I don't know much about DD4H’s Holy Water but I do know in general that the oils sold by the 3 main vendors all only take a drop per axle. Any more than that and you will slow down.

Ya know, I have small bottles with needle droppers that I used for oil when I first started. When the time came to add another drop it sure made it easy to get that super small drop under the axle head. But then worried about amount of oil I would loose when trying to put the oil back in its original bottle. Which was probably a contamination risk now that I think about it. But as I look at the size of the drop from the typical dropper that comes in these bottles, I wonder if a smaller drop is preferred such as from the needle dropper.
T-Bone, all that being said should I go back to the needle dropper? I would just keep the oil in that bottle but can’t guarantee it’s air right. But if I have a chance at better speed with that smaller drop...

I would, I don’t use the regular dropper anymore at finding out that more is less.

This one should be pretty tight: https://www.amazon.com/Racers-Edge-...le+dropper&qid=1585743659&s=industrial&sr=1-5

I’ve used ones like this before, and they work well.

Thanks T-Bone.....the dropper does seem to distribute a tad to much. Saw one similar to that one. Will try to find the link and we'll compare if you'd like.

Yeh it looks pretty handy especillaly if your your at r race that allows work between rounds.

I wasn’t even thinking about that! That’s extremely true, and like you said, it’s possible to put it on your shirt. Then again though, you could get that kind, the kind I had in the link, and it’s still under $10, and there may even be cheaper ones out there that are good quality.

I can relate to that, a few years ago, I bought oil, and put it in a pencil box along with other pinewood derby things, and when I went to use it, I was thinking, man, I wish my wheels were as shiny as this pencil box, and then the light bulb went on, my oil bottle cracked open, spilling all inside of the box. Now, my oil bottles are always either in bubble wrap or a bag of some sort.

That IS a nice one. I do have a needle dropper. Got a couple different gauge needle bottles when I was building stick and tissue free flight planes and the amount I typically apply to the 2-3 gram little pieces of flying balsa and film is pretty small. The bottle that was too small is perfect for oil. Now that I see what T-Bone mentioned and then what you shown it probably will work well. I was only worried about it not being air tight. But as long as the seal in the cap is there it should be.
Looking at it closer the seal is only an O ring so still not sure. I think its going to work fine. Here's a couple picks.
