Is it just me or when using the Pointed q tips that come with the kit, they do not feel like they fit snug or that they are not polishing like when you used to use the Walgreen's Q tips?
I think it has to do with the tip getting smaller being wet from the polish.

Any help ?

I noticed this too. I had purchased spare timiya swabs anfd some fit tight and some don't. Most don't fit tightly.

Use them to get a coating in then use a pipe cleaner with the polish in the wheel. You don't need the tightness.

Would no-scratch applicators work well? I have some leftover from previous polishing "system".
