District race was yesterday. My son took the bears and got second overall. Most people would be disappointed with second, but I was very proud. I literally only cut the body of the car this year. He prep'd the wheels and axles. He added the weights and tuned it. The kid that won was a Sr. Webelo so it was good for him to go out with a bang. Even though he used last year's car, which was against the rules, but I wasn't going to say anything. Very tight races. It was good my son didn't get first b.c he was getting a little cocky.
