Speaking of CA glue. One of the buildings up where I used to work had a guy on swing shift that would go to the toilet and go to sleep every night. Somebody really didn't like that and put CA glue all over the seat before he got in there. They had to call emergency and take the seat off and take the guy to the hospital to surgically remove it. Ouch!
eeek
That had to be painful!

I got it on my tongue once. Don't ask.

My buddy the "plastics guy" told me to put some ISO alcohol on some scotch brite and sand it off.

It worked like a charm.

Kinser,
Those guys should be in jail!

Where is the best place to buy the CA glue? And what brand seems to be the best cost value? Locktite brand seems to break the bank and comes in a small volume.
Thanks,

After thinking a bit about brands of CA glue I agree.

Loctite is expensive but probably the best stuff.

Zapagap and Bob Smith are both very good.

All this stuff goes bad though so if you are not using it a lot, go for the best you can.

The Starbond brand I am no longer a fan of.

This is my rundown of the different CA brands I've tried ...

Bob Smith Insta-Cure - my local hobby store rebrands this so I wanted to like it and give them business. The glue itself is ok, its just that after each use the bottle clogs up, and not just a little bit. I won't use it anymore..

Zap Lite CA - puts off an insane amount of vapors when it cures. Will never buy again.

Loctite (various) - ubiquitous, expensive, and very good. I use this even for the things that are traditionally hard to glue - like the Teflon, delrin products. I've been using the "GO2 Glue" product for the tungsten weights.

Great Planes Pro CA Thin - the best for sealing balsa (as I mentioned in another thread).

If you don't mind me asking:

What do you do for a living?

I will have to try this Great Planes brand. The price had me hesitant but there is nothing like fresh CA!
