Anyone worked with these whole body design skins. How easy? How nice they look? Just place them over wood? And any concerns they reduce speed?
I was. No longer interestedAre you talking about the skins available at scout stores and hobby shops? If so I know some that have used them. They are fragile and a little tricky to install. But they are light and do not slow the car.

There are many ways you can go about it. You could print graphics on normal printer paper, spray mount it to the car and then clear coat over it with polyurethane. You could use the labels like on 5kids above. You can buy printable vinyl on Amazon and go that route. I've been using the 12" vinyl sheets from Hobby Lobby. Granted they aren't fancy designs, but they do the trick.
Here is my son's car for this year. Hobby Lobby vinyl, black sharpie on fenders.

Hey now Brian. I've been lurking.
We won our pack Saturday, and are trying to decide about the council race. We may go to the Catholic Camporee instead. My son just really wants the patch with his car on it for last year. Our car this year looks very similar to yours. And it was fast. Might see you in March ...
LOL!! Matt, if you can't make it to Council, maybe all of our kids can race our cars on Brian's track for bragging rights!
