This sounds fun! I was thinking of not running QT's yellow belly for the finals, but after hearing those prizes I'm tempted.

I'm all in on the snail and governor races. Quick question for the snail, can the car be shorter than the 9"?

Edit:
I think I figured it out. The rule states 9" total length, and does not say "not to exceed" indicating the car should be 9".

Do Cars In Snail Race Need To Be 5 OZ Or Can It Be Less......I May Just Send My Basx From Last Month Untouched, Its Got A Good chsnce

Sounds like fun!

Is the Governor Class intended to be a "no fender" class like BASX? I ask because the BASX 1-3/4" width limit is present, but the additional ALL CAPS verbiage is not. See blue highlight below ...

FIXED

Ah man my brain is not working well tonight. The more I read the previous posts, the more confused I get.

Is the Total Car Body Width for the Governor class 1 3/4" (no fenders) or 2 3/4" (with fenders)?

Please clarify.

Thanks

The original post is the source of truth for the rules. John updated the original post to clarify the rule. Ignore all the quoted rules after the original post.

OH man, I just re-prepped Malibu. I would have been a shoe in for the snail race... who knows it may still be a contender
