i just got home from a 9 hour ride getting my but kicked all the way cause Sunshine lost a 3rd place trophy by .001 to Mr. Chips.......in the unlimited class.
hell hath no furry like a woman who looses a trophy by a .001........

Kinser:

A couple of more suggestionS, if you agree:
1 - Prior to the show down race, allow each car to make two warm up runs, to allow the bearings and lubrication (IF ANY) to heat up.
2 - The actual race should be timed with two runs down each lane, the average time to be the determinate.
3 - In case of a tie, even if multiple runs are required, both cars run once down each lane, and again the average be the determinate.

IS this OK with you? --- And John??

Also, as far as John resetting my car's veer, you can watch, but he must set it to my specs on the test board (a test run on the track not required). He will set my body's left hand side parallel on the center line, and the nose must hit 1.5 inches at the 8' mark, to the left of the center line.

Staging; DFW = 1/64", the rest of the body parallel to the track.

AND NO MATTER WHO WINS, WE WILL HAVE A GOOD TIME AT RUTH CHRIS. OTHERS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND, BUT MUST PAY THEIR OWN WAY.

Nice race Sunshine! It must have been luck since this is my 1st unlimited car.
DNA... Sorry your ear was burned up for so long. However, its racing. I've been knocked out of top spots by the same amount as I'm sure many others have as well.

Here's the way I see it. You said your car would win untouched. All I asked for was to clean and reprep, because my car had been through a full race plus a tiebreaker runoff. My wheels are dirty, yours are clean. I won't retune my car, just clean and prep. John, doesn't touch your steer. We race just like a normal race, no warm ups. Two runs down each lane, loser buys. John is definitely welcome to come with us for a free meal. Deal?
