OK we have completed our pinewood derby car and I tested it last night on my 5ft glass tuning board, the car is set to steer towards the non-DFW 4in at 4 feet. I installed a center guide rail made of wood on my tuning board and when I roll the car down it steers into the rail but my DFW does not migrate out towards the axle head. My question is have I done something wrong or is that normal? Thank you guys for all the help on the build.

The DFW in fact stays on the car body,so be sure the surface is as smooth as possible.Most guys use PTFE washers
