DON'T CHEAT!

No Oil rule. Graphite only. (Go figure!)
I HAVE to bring the weight up to 16 Oz.
I've seen the effects of Weight x.Gravity.
My "PERFECT" 5 Oz. car, needs an 11 Oz. weight GAIN- NOW!

6.5 oz car is all you need with the oil process, rail riding and good wheels and axles. We killed a 6 pounder last year. Any more weight and you will actually slow the car down.
We have won three years in a row with 7oz cars and graphite, against cars weighing up to 3 pounds.

I get that, I do.
6 pounds might be different, than 1 pound.
I've got a FAST 5 Oz. car, that needs to become faster, by adding 11 more Oz. into a limited real estate rear-end. I need it to look cool, and be fast, in less than 2 days.
All said, and done, wouldn't a 1 pounder, slam a Quarter pounder? (All things being equal?)

All you can do is go up with the build( unfortunately ). I've never shoved that much weight in a rearend before.

I would have to agree here in that your car with 6.5 oz would be faster. And that will be all the more fun in making them mad by beating the pants off of them with a lighter car. You have the biggest advantage over them...and its right here ...the NPWDRL forum!!! Good luck and keep us informed of the results.

I have an unlimited supply of Copper wire, and with not much time left, I'm thinking of wrapping the non-contact points, and making it "Look Cool" by spooling it around the car, with bare # 12 Solid Copper wire.
It might not "look" cool, (covering my $45.00 Purple Gloss paint job), but... I'm out of ideas! It would still share the original shape/idea /and add weight.(Where I need it.)
Your thoughts?

First...DONT panic haha. Second, add another ounce and a half for a total of 6.5.oz. (However you want) Third, re-tune the car, and Finally.....WIN dang it!!! I think you will be surprised how well you do

Halo just listen to the pros..why ask for advice then dont listen..it aint these guys first rodeo

Chief, I'm in panic-mode. (Running out of time!)
With no oil, with no time left for fine tuning, I'm wrapping Copper around the car. I'm at 1 pound, and I must say- "It looks pretty Frea<Ck!n' COOL!
DONE!
COPPER CLAD CAR.. 16 Oz.
It looks, like I "Planned" for it.
Although, $45 Bux in paint just got hidden.

Tre,
I listen to all, until it conflicts with our rules, then I can't.
No oil, Etc.(RULES)
I'm not ignoring information, I can only use what is LEGAL.

I'm listening. Loud and Clear.
It's just, some advise, doesn't Jive with our very strict RULES.
I'm trying to conform, and I HATE! Trying to conform!

I think what they're trying to tell you is to stop putting all that weight in the car. After 6.5-7oz you start getting diminishing returns regardless of graphite or oil. I don't think that conflicts with your rules.

I just want to add that some where on the forum, this has already been tested and proven. OPA did it and someone else on here was doing something like this at their local club or something where they could have some kind of crazy amount of weight, anyway he finally listened to the pros and kept it at about 7oz and just cleaned their clocks hahaha.

If your alignment is right on, and you have done the pledge and graphite with 6.5 or so ounces I honestly think you will be top dog. Do me a favor... you built two cars, make the other car 6.5 oz and align it and graphite it too and let us know which car does what. Best of luck to you! Keep us posted!
