Has anyone ever tested this product---"Blaster" Graphite Dry Lube?? Thought about trying it. But if someone has tested it, I will not waste my time.
I thought of trying it along with DD4H graphite.
I am not seeing positive results using Pledge. The new Pledge doesn't contain the word polish on the can. The new can just calls it Pledge Furniture Spray.
But that is a different topic.

I was writing something telling of the relative non-necessity of trying new graphites when I looked up the product. My answer has changed to "I dunno." I expect it will either be very good or very bad, with no middle ground.

Can you explain this a little more? Curious about your results with Pledge - worse or just no improvement? What was your application technique (spray then wait and wipe or no wipe off)?

With Pledge I saw no improvements over no Pledge pre-treatment. I have 2 test cars. First ran 12 heats with each car with no Pledge. Documented times.

Car A
1. Removed axles
2. Soaked in denatured alcohol for 15-20 min
3. Removed from alcohol soak and blew off with air. Let axles dry for 30 min
4. Chucked axles in drill. Repolished with Legends, then leather strip, then selvyt cloth.
5. Sprayed axles with Pledge. Shook off excess. Let dry for 1 hour.
6. Applied graphite to axles & wheel bores. Spun wheels by hand. Installed axles & wheels.

Car B
Same steps 1-4 above..
5. Sprayed axles with Pledge. Shook off excess. Let dry for 1 hour. Wiped axles with dryer sheet.
6. Same as #6 above.

Ran 12 heats. Documented times.

I was in a hurry typing this and I guess my mind on other things.

You are correct. I did not use Legends on axles. I used DD4H zero-friction axle polish.

My mistake in typing.

No idea if it made a difference with regard to the pledge, but my understanding is that for reprep of axles you don't need to (or shouldn't?) reapply polish, just clean with alcohol.

Did you notice any difference in results between wiping off pledge and not wiping off?
