Dynasty 92 Axles

OK guys I took the advice of all the pros on here and ordered the Dynasty 92 axles and Dynasty BASX wheels for my sons PWD car. I know eveyone says the pro railrider tool is junk but it's all I have right now, my question is can I use this tool to bend my DFW's axle without damaging the axle. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

I am new and by no means a pro, but I have used the pro railrider tool the past couple of years and it seems to work fine. This year we did cant the rear axles and only had to bend the front one.

No, before polishing cut a groove about half way through the axle, after polishing clamp the wood end in a vise, hold a large screwdriver/chisel in the groove and bend it by tapping on the screwdriver/chisel with a rubber mallet or hammer. In your case the exact degree of bend doesn't matter too much... shoot for 3-5 degrees. You should be able to see the bend... if you bend it too much it won't fit through the wheel bore and you will have to bend it back a little.

You can cut the groove with a small file while spinning the axle in a drill press or even a cordless drill. If you happen to screw up and mark up the axle shaft then orient that side up when you bend your axle. You wheel rides on the bottom of the axle and the scratches will be on the top.

Rocket is right, just a standard set of hobbyist files like these:

I would start cutting the groove with a sharp 90 degree file using the point and then switch to the end of the round file once the groove is started... A rounded groove is less likely to crack the axle if you overbend.
