I was planning on sending in a elim this month. I have a new set of rzr. and after I installed them in the body I noticed that one wheel would not spin. I always spin my wheel after setting gaps to make sure everything is ok. Has this happen to anyone else?

Sounds like the wheel bore is too tight for the wheel-axle combination. If the wheel went on easily then you might be seeing the tight fit in the eliminators. The wheel bore gap axle gap is smaller in those cars to start with. I've had to polish the axles sometimes to achieve a better gap, but not that much.

Traditionally, the 91's, but it's always worth checking bore diameter when you get new wheels. Shouldn't lose much in bore prep or you are doing something wrong.

When you purcahase your eliminator wheels they should specify the bore size. Many of the guys sell the wheels and axles together. Go back and see what bore they were to start or you can get a pin gauge to check the bore size. the gap in eliminators seems to be be from .003 to .006.

I've not experienced this with the newer wheels. The old XS2's yes, they were just like this.

It's would guess that something happened during prep. Did you check your bore and axle?

I use jig with johns oil. The wheels are the dynasty razr eliminator I checked the site couldn't find the bore size. Would 91s be a better choice of axel?

Thanks for all the info its greatly appreciated..

Run the car down your tuning board. If it that wheel skids then you know it is stuck. You should be able to hear it skidding.
