My son didn’t align the fenders perfect, so cut away part is a little lower. We are not allowed to bend our front axle, even though I might bend it a little.

I assume this would help keep the car aligned, but would it help with speed or should I sand it down?

Are you asking about the axle or the fender?

The rails on the tracks are 1/4" tall. Just try and make sure that your fenders will clear that height, even if the car is at a slight angle. IOW, the front fenders should not be in the space between your wheels.

Basically the fenders have a cut out so it doesn't hit the track. My question is should I let it hit the track so it rail rides a little? Or sand it down like I intended.
