Hello everyone, it’s been super quiet here lately. Scout builds must be all wrapped up...(couldn’t find a cricket img) Anyhow I see a lot of Basx cars have a bent rw to get a little arrow advantage. What legal improvements are you allowed to make to the wheel? Also the axle itself, is it better to use a league style or stock bsa axle? I’m guessing the type of axle wouldn’t make a difference just the bend and tune of the wheel itself. I’m sure there is some speed to be found here but I have yet to try.

The wheels have to match the rules for all of the other wheels on the car... 2.4g etc, but as far as axles go... I used to use BSA stock axles until I started getting a pile of retired aftermarket axles... that is what I use now.

Yes I would rather use a bsa axle also rather than tie up a speed axle also due to cost but I do have a few Tx 92 I’ve retired I can use.
Still curious about the amount of bend I need and the orientation of the wheel but I suppose it’s just trial and error.
Thanks for the feed back
