front body width and FDW cant

I'm still new and I thought I read this in the forum somewhere but now I can't find it.

It seems like many racers are no longer cutting 1/16" off the body on the side of the DFW because they are bending the DFW axle 5+ or 10+ degrees. Is this something a lot people are experimenting with?

Somewhat related, on the legend axle bending tool, does anybody have info regarding how the height of the head of the second bolt (or the distance the lever can be raised) correlates to the degree of bend in the axle?

Irvin,
Cutting a 1/16th off the FDW side is still a mixed bag. I know some pro's that don't and some that do. All of these guys are in the top 10 and they are only thousands apart. What i'm saying it is your preference.

I don't think that as of yet an official chart or measurement on the bending tool correlates to the angle of the bend. I could be wrong but either Goat Boy or DD4H might know.
