Goat Boy bearing wheels???

I recently won a set of wheels ....( Thank You Goat Boy) I plan on building a bearing car but I need some Imput on what bearing and axles I need to buy. Also can u convert a bearing wheels to run in Eliminator class. I know nothing about this class. Just that when u put them together it is what it is... please advise..

Congratulations on your new set of wheels. Goat Boy makes extremely good parts. I am sure you could have an insert made if you wanted to run them in Eliminator, but I wouldn't know where to begin. I would just order the axles and bearings from the DerbyDad4hire store.

The axles for the bearing wheels has the same diameter as the SS .92 axle. Depending on what axles you are running with your eliminator will determine if they will work or not. The new eliminator axles from John are .084 so the hole sizes will be different depending on what your set up is like.

If you use boca bearings the part # is SFR0 $11.95 ea and you will need 6 of them and then you will need a set of .046 bearing needle axles from DD4H the axles are stepped down so they will fit a regular axle hole and your bearings slide up on the .046 part of the axle a is held in place by a silicone keeper. I don't know if john sells the bearings seperate from the Goatboy bearing kit or not but if not you can use the part # and get them from Boca Or Goat boy may have some I don't know.

congrats on winning the wheels jbd. All the info above is correct and John has all the axles and bearings you would need for the bearing wheel set-up. You have built some great cars so far and I would bet your bearing car will be top notch as well. Good luck!
