Has anybody tried both the Hater Sauce and Holy Water oils at different points for their Grand Prix cars and if so was there a noticeable difference between them? We have used Hater Sauce with DuPont for the last three years and have done pretty well, but wondering if it's worth the switch over. Another layer to add to this would using DuPont or Jig-a-loo with either of these oils and if there was any noticeable difference between those?

A couple friends use Hater Sauce with pretty good results. I don't know all their prep though. I"ve been able to stay in front of them with Krytox and Jig though.

xjarcher, thanks for the info. I’m just trying to figure out the next thing or things to change to keep winning. After taking first for the last 2 years in the adult division and my son taking first in the boys division last year, other racers have started getting inquisitive. Most if not all have always used graphite and seem to swear by it, but I have a feeling they may start changing their minds. Maybe Jig is the next step for this year.

We've been dealing with this for about 10 years. Our region even outlawed graphite for a couple of years. There was so much WHINING that we brought it back with strict provisions regarding it's use. If they consistently lose to oil cars they either give up or ask and learn.
ps. Jig has become hard to get. I might know of some.

Ordered some Jig over the weekend and it should show up about a week before our Grand Prix. I will be helping with the set up of the track this year and will be able to let my special needs son get some practice in the night before, as it will be his first year racing. I’m hoping to pull the axles from last years car and prep them with Jig to get a feeling if the car is notably faster than last year when he practices with it. Hopefully at minimum the same.
