Ideal wheel base

We are participating in our first race that allows extended wheel bases, oil and aftermarket wheels and axels. Wheels cannot be lightened or shaped. What is the ideal wheel base we should target. The rules only say it should be at least 4". I'm also open to suggestions on other parts you would recommend.

5/8 from the rear of the car and 5/32 on the height from the bottom of the car. Do u have the block or silver bullet to drill with? The front of the car can b the same but u might want to bring the tire back a little bit more. Maybe 3/4 from the front of the car to b safe.

If you go with neg cant of the front I go with 3/32. But if u are running it pos cant go with 5/32. The neg cant u go with the 3/32 to keep the front of the car as level as u can. The bend will b down so it raises the car up slightly and that will b close the 5/32 in the rear. With the neg the tire runs to the body so it needs to b very smooth.Sally Henson telfon tuff finger nail polish works great where it rubs. Do not use just any finger nail polish. Tried that and its very slow.

amazon has it. Type in sally Henson Teflon tuff. That's where I got mine. U can also get the washer from derbydad that will do the same thing. I use both with the same results. Don't really know. I think its in all the Teflon tuff products. I have the clear coating version.
cool
