Pulled out our Red Rocket and Pro Wheel Bore Polish and the instructions reference a DVD that we do not have. It would seem fair that the product has complete instructions, so I thought I would see if anyone knows the rest. What's missing is the "initial wheel bore polish" and specifically the "same method as applying the #2 polish"...also, it references polishing after 24 hours...how is that different than the 2nd buffing? ...anyone knowing what's missing would be greatly appreciated!

It's the process of getting the bore smooth. You want the wheel bore to be slick as possible which requires the bore to be polished with a polishing agent like John's #1 polish or some other agent. I use 3M Lens Polish & Protector, but there's others....Novice is good. John's #1 is great. Most guys use a cotton tip swab stalk in the initial step. It's all in the video. You may have to sand down the cotton tip swab stalk to get it to fit in the bore. Too tight and you can ruin the bore. If you use a cotton tip swab with the #1 polish the you go at low speed to prevent any damage to the bore. I'd practice on some spare wheels behind committing to the wheels for the race. Some guys use the small size cotton swabs from hobby stores instead of the larger cotton tip swab stalk method. These can be used with not having to use a stalk. This is done at high speed. It is safer. After this step wash out the polish and apply the Red Rocket.

Saturday is almost here. the wheel polishing is as important as polishing the axles. The axles need to be polsihed slick and the wheel bores need the same consideration. I hope you found the cotton tip stalks or those small size cotton tip swabs. Using the stalk method requires practice. If you can't find the hobby small sized cotton tips I guess a pipe cleaner would do in a pinch. They would be better than nothing.
