So glad to be back into the thick of things. My son and I have been working on his PWD car for this years race that happens this Saturday. My life has been keeping me so busy that I haven't had a chance to really do anything in the PWD world until it came time for my son's PWD race. we spent 4 hours last night testing and I think we have pulled all the speed we can from his car with the tools that I have for now. The biggest problem I'm facing right now is wheel alignment, with out any of the tools needed to get a "solid" alignment I do the best I can. With my lack of tools we are able to get the car down to 3.098 (42' Best track) graphite. I have tried to find ways to get a solid parallel canted drill but its hard to do. I can get close, but I think that is what's keeping us from breaking into the 2.9x area. I feel confident in the wheel/axel prep and the body design. I've also got a little better with Monokote.
Well just wanted to say "HI" and hope to be around a lot more this year.
