I have to give kudos to all of you. I fell for your joke. I saw on this site where this mysterious "dry lubricant" is a must-have for derby racing. I started my quest to find it.

Evidently, if you live far away from Canada, Jig-a-loo is impossible to find. Let me recap my attempts to get this:

1- Went to the web and googled "Jig-a-loo". About a dozen places sell it. Shouldn't be a problem, right?

A-Went to 2 different Costco's. Neither had it, did not think to try to have it shipped to me. (Mistake on my part, I guess. These Costco's are not close to my house).

B- Went to Home Depot and they were able to locate it in their inventory. It was located in Canada HD, but not the US. They called HQ Home Depot to order it and we were informed that due to "tax differences" between the US and Canada, it could not be ordered in the US. I offered to pay the higher tax rate, but they said no. I still don't understand that one.

C- Saw on this site where "Rocket" has Jig for sale. I sent 2 emails about a week apart from each other. I did not get a reply either time.

D- Vitamin K mentioned that Amazon has it for sell, so I looked it up and they DO HAVE IT! I ordered it a week and a half ago along with Novus 2. The Novus 2 arrived........but no Jig.

By this time, I feel like a crack addict looking for a fix! Must find "THE JIG!"

E- Went to Wal-Mart. They sell everything, right? I Found Brasso. I found Q-tips. I found 91% alcohol. I found no Jig, of course.

F- I called Fastenal. They didn't have it. Said they never heard of it. I told them they are listed as a company that sells it. He said bluntly, "We don't"

First heard of the "Jig" from this site. I think I have finally figured out what's going on here. There really is no such thing as Jig-a-loo! You guys are having a good time messing with the newbie. Just look at the name.... (Jig-a-loo) it's a made up name for goodness sakes! No company carries it, no one has ever seen it. It's like a jackalope.

Anybody else want to see to what lengths I'll go to for this magic elixir? I feel like the Freshman in high school that has been told about the "swimming pool on the roof". Have to have the elevator key to get to it.

I admit, I'm gullible. I fell for it. Good joke, guys!

Rocket Car seems to be known as the resident Jig-dealer. At least, his sig says as much.

I have also read that Ace Hardware can order it for you.

If you can't get Jig in time for your race, I've read that Chainsaver is similar, but maybe not quite as good.

Appreciate that, Vitamin K..... unless that sends me on another fruitless quest!!!

Fastenal does sell the 3M Dry Type Silicone. I had pretty good results using it when I started racing and it only cost me around $7 for a can.

How long does it take you guys to go through a can?

12 cans is a lot, but I'd rather have 12 cans than 0 cans.

5 Kids hooked me up years ago. I still thank you for that Scott! It's real you just have to order it from Jig A Loo in Canada or find some old stock like Rocket Car did.

this stuff works pretty well. I have gotten times real close to jig with it and its available everywhere.

Canadian Tire sells it. You Hockey Night In Canada fans will recognize that name.

I don't know if I clicked "Pickup" or something like that and my browser is remembering that. But I cannot find a "shipping" button. Maybe they do not ship. See if the link has a shipping option when you add it to your cart. I picked up two cans and have one unused can just bought a few weeks ago that I can sell you. We'd have to work out the actual shipping of an "aerosol" can.
