Some of my SS cars I'm racing tomorrow (4/12) in Champaign IL. Thanks to my sponsor SSI Decals for the great graphics. #31 is my ATV motocross racing number, and other sponsor logos.

Thanks Meyer, wanted to run the clear covered wheels but the rules say no hubcaps... I'll be taking pics tomorrow and will post my results. I've been looking forward to this specific race for a year now, to race 2 competitors. The track is a nice polished smooth 3 lane BT and a nice stop section.

SWEET looking rides!! Let us know how fast the orange car is. Because I ordered some orange wheels from john and then I read they are slower than the other colors. Good luck!!!

You guys are the best, thank you for the props! The orange car is a ladder Eliminator car that I stuck 2.3 gram orange wheels on and negative canted the rear axles, so I haven't ran it yet. So happy that I prepped for about 2 weeks on these cars a couple weeks ago so I wouldn't rush it last minute. I think the orange car will be fast, I had those wheels on a older test car and it was quick. Going to the race early to hopefully test & tune. Racing in John's league, talking on this forum and racing Unlimited with Goat Boy and Zeeb Zob has given me the knowledge and confidence to register solid fast cars and do well, and know what to do and say. I had a chance to race the Mxquad car against Rocket Car at Zeebs and they were both dead on at 2.9777
I'm taking a couple street pro and unlimited cars in case someone thinks they have a hot car after the races.....
lol

The pink breast cancer car is one I'm really interested in testing, special wheels = fast times....

Also, I'm racing the 4 inch mini-cooper car, so this will be the first time this crowd has ever saw a car like that.

Tune in tomorrow night to find out, same time same bat channel

Race report and pics. Got to the event early and plenty of time to test 12 cars one time and write down the times of each. Sadly the orange car was slower than my 4 inch mini cooper... The track was nice and the stop section was working great. Tried one of my street pro cars with a guide pin and it entered the stop section and somehow flip off the track landing upside down cracking the front wheel and breaking the tops off the rear fenders. Tried one of my bearing cars and it ran a 2.978, no damage or issue.

The event is held in a high school gym, the scout class had 109 cars, the fastest time was a 3.111. From my early morning test runs I had cars that ran (MXQUAD racing car - 3.081, Pink Ta-Ta's - 3.126, Orange car 3.205, Yellow wheel ladder car 3.078, Champ car - 3.095, White/Red State Farm car - 3.096, Blue wheel with my racing stickers - 3.160,4 inch mini-cooper - 3.203) so I knew that I was in contention in the Open.

Ten cars registered for the Open and the cars in the wooden tray is what I decided on to race. When the race started (no check-in or weighing or nothing for Open) I felt bad for racing my fastest cars that I pulled the MXQUAD car, the Champion car, and White/Red SF car, and put in the 4 inch car and the blue wheel motocross logo car to keep the competition close, but leaving the cream colored ladder car just in case there was a sleeper in the bunch.

Yellow wheel ladder car finished 1st with a record time of 3.05, the blue wheel motocross logo car finished 2nd, the 4 inch mini cooper finished 4th.
