I’ve only seen a few posts of tuning boards, but I’m quite proud of mine. I only have $40 invested in it. That was for paint, levelers and $24 for the stickers to be made. I had all the scrap wood in my garage and the mirror was in my attic. “My house is 100 years old; I’m always finding things that I didn’t purchase.” I have it level side to side and about a 1” drop. The mirror was only 70” long so I don’t have the full 6’, but I will overcome the 2”.

Thank you for the positive feedback. I’m so glad I found this chat room, my wife could care less when I talk to her about this stuff and thought I was crazy when I was cutting the wood to make a tuning board. The more I tried to explain its use the less it made sense to her.
