Need help canting the holes

I thought that was how the plug and play rail runner cars worked. I figured that you drilled the DFW at an angle and toe in so the steer was set and no tuning was necessary.

Do you mean you drill some blocks with cant and toe-in for the DFW and a straight axle is used? That must have been difficult to figure out and setup a jig for.

I ended up putting 2.5 degrees of bend into my canted DFW axle. With 1.5 degrees I had the steer but not enough camber. I may need to go 3 degrees to get it where I think I want it. Again, this is based on no testing except 48" rolls on the kitchen table so I can't say she'll be any good. I'm still tempted to run bent axles in the straight drilled body just because I know it will work but it just takes more time.
