Another thread here really got me to thinking; especially for a graphite car like yours. You could get that .8mm lead refill, then drill a hole and put that lead into your car body, right where those grooves are. It's no bushing, definitely not a washer, and exactly the slick stuff you're using for lube.

We can't use washers so we did the ca coating on the FDW. Maybe I need to put a thicker coat on it. We didn't do it on the rears. Should I do that for them? We are running a .10 gap.

Try several layers of gel coat finger nail polish and buff it with some bore wax.

The rears will rub once the cars hit the stop section. Since the wheels are no longer loaded they slide back into the body and are still spinning.

When washers are restricted, would a slide glides piece work? I know this thread is from 2016, but what do you use instead of washers today? If slide glides, where do you get them?

I used a thin PTFE film. It's clear, and to me, no different than wrapping monokote (or something similar) on the sides. It's a grey area of the rules...

Now, if the rules explicitly state that the wheel must contact wood as it does in the Box Stock rules, this practice would be illegal.
