New Bladerunner

I bought a Rockwall Bladerunner because the add looked cool and they said it would actually cut up to 2" of soft wood. Not a good idea, it can not do the job of cutting through a pinewood block.

Anyone else try it? Any experience with the very cheap Harbor Freight 9" band saw?

I have the Harbor Freight band saw and so far it has done an OK job if you take the time to get it set up right. You need to find a good quality blade which I'm still trying to find. I have had a hard time finding anyone other than Harbor Freight that sells a 62" blade. The saw has a bit more vibration than I would like, I just have not had time to balance the wheels. For the price it is not that bad of a saw.

I came into a little cash and went nuts and bought a RIKON 10"-305.
Very quite and will get a big work out making most the cars in our pack.
