NEW CARS FOR SEPT... MOTM RACE # 2

hmmm...SR's run close together...John's axles are magnetic...magnets would have an equal and opposite reaction on the cars. On one side, it would push the car into the rail requiring less steer, and push the other car off the rail causing instability, given the same side DFW. If it was to push air, (thought about doing this one) it would cause drag on both cars...

The counter would be to run opposite side DFW...
 
Guys... I can't tell you what they are, but what I can tell you is the I will be running them this month on my cars. Benji swears by them... speed secret? Not after this month. BTW, thanks for the insider tip Benji. Oh yeah... Get those cars back in the mail tomorrow. That process worked perfectly on the others! Thanks a million!
 
I just got a text on how to apply this application to my cars...Not this next race but Oct MOTM race all my cars will be applying this application...Paul are you testing this application also?...PM me your results because like you said Bnji is swearing by this and I have seen his results in the video he sent me.
 
Magnetic axle carriers with set screws to hold the axle firm and also the toe and cant can be adjusted, they must plug into the existing drilled hole. Maybe the back of his teflon washer has a magnet attached that repels so it keeps the front wheel and the other wheels off the car at all times and could potentially affect other cars if all things needed lined up just perfectly.

the way I see it
the SR chassis' that use metal screws to mount the body may be extra vulnerable if repulsion is at play here ,

time to break out the demagnetizer and hit the axles,

Larry, I'll be testing this weekend. I can promise you this, I'll either be cheering or crying. Have not seen the video yet... maybe that is the secret. J/K Computer problems at the moment, maybe by morning, after the system runs it's scan. I'll try again... dang computers! Arghhhh......

The fact that JBD removed the picture speaks volumes.

Magnets don't repel anything but other magnets.

I have not seen the neodysium magnets in any colors before.

It looks anodized to me

A ball and socket joint with set screw for the DFW?

That still does not explain why he has them on the rears though

Perhaps he is getting the jump on the other cars (which puts them in the dirty wind) which will effect their speeds.

Maybe it is a magnetic cushion of some sort?

I interpret that rule to mean "something other than gravity pushing the car"

To achieve "the impossible dream" of going down the track without touching head or body doesn't fit that description the way I see the rules.

However, that might not even be the topic of the conversation. Hahahaha
