New Track Prep

I have a new Best Track coming tomorrow. I have read comments that sanding a new track is required to avoid wheel damage. Does anyone have any links to new-track prep videos or threads where I can learn the best way to prep the new track? Or maybe some quick advice posted in this thread?

I was up till 3 am putting this darn thing together. Man oh man there's a lot a bolts. Not quite done yet, but no major surprises or set backs so far. I am pretty impressed with the design and the bottom rail/bolt system. I will say, my trusty Makita hex driver sure made life easier.
