Sorry guys but I've got to do it....
Another unscrupulous bump for the Member Locator Map
We've had some new members come aboard, but not as many as Papa V would like to see, but in any event. It would be nice to see the new members get themselves on the Member Locator Map. Just drop me a PM with you location and I'll get you on the map ASAP. As a default, your forum avatar will be used as your locator pin.
Just click on the Google Maps in the left column or the picture in my signature, either on will get you there. 900 member and less than 50 names on the map.
Let's get it filled!

Hey guys. Google has made some changes to our map and has removed some features and added others. Currently there is a flaw, glitch or whatever you choose to call it, with the icons. Some of the placemarkers got changed to a default, which somehow became Spirit's avatar. So... whenever I try to put a new placemarker on the map, the default icon is used and will not allow change. I sent an email out to Google regarding this concern, but I'm a little guy, so it may be awhile before a correction is made.
Until such time a correction has been made, please bear with the current status and the wrong icons that are in place. I will have them corrected as soon as humanly possible.

Map has been updated. All the yellow push pin markers are gone, as best as I can tell, there may be one still there.
Again, if you would like to be placed on the map, please drop me a PM and I will get you on the map as quickly as possible.

To all the news guys here on the forum, if you haven't noticed the Google Maps "Member Locator" over there of the left side of board, and in my signature area below, go ahead and give it a click. Maybe you can find some fellow racers in your area to help support your carnal pinewood derby addiction.
If you are not on the map and would like to be, shoot me a PM with your location. Your current avatar will be used as your placemarker. If you don't have one, maybe our resident avatar generator will produce one, you never know when they will strike next. Otherwise a generic placemarker will be used to mark your location, i.e. thumb tack.

It's that time again, for another.... unscrupulous bump to this post.
I've been getting a few requests to be added to the map. Thanks to those of you that decided to be part of the ever growing map population. Currently there are about 75+ racers located on the map, I know there are more of you out there. If you would like to be placed on the map drop me a PM. I usually try to get you placed on the map within 24 hours.
I typically use your current avatar as a placement marker and if you don't have an avatar you'll get a yellow pushpin as your marker. There are several guys on the forum here that can help you out with an avatar if you need assistance. Just ask and I'm sure they will help out.
