Well I got them all done. Our pack race is tomorrow so we get to try out what we have learned over the last few months. We normally have a strong turn out for our "Outlaw" race which is open to parents and and our former cubs. So here they are!

The story behind Sandra's car is we recently had to change our pack number and the last number changed from 4 to 3, so it means "No More 4"

Great results...
I find it interesting that the "No More 4" car took forth. Next year I would name it the "#1 Car".

One of my very young Grandsons wanted to build a car just like his older brother. He was four years old so he found a sticker with a 4 on it and put it on his car. Later the older brother looked at it and was very puzzled, "Why do you want to come in forth place"?. After the short "stare down at the weigh-in", I explained it and everyone was happy.

"And appropriately finishing fourth" was how she was introduced in the awards ceremony. Our 1, 2, 3 streak was interrupted buy a former cub with a car weighing 1lb 6oz. It sounded like a tank going down the track!

Well Little Man made me proud.

We had our district race yesterday, with luck and pactience on his side he took 1st place. He had his ups and downs with having the fastest time of the day with 2.305 followed by a close 2.306 by another boy so he had some close racing. Now for the downs, the track had a bad joint causing the cars to hop halfway across the flat causing his car to hop onto the rail and sliding the last 14ft of the track but he still took 1st.

The bad spot continued to haunt him on a couple runs but somehow he never lost making a clean sweep all day long. I would like to say thanks to everyone on this forum for sharing their knowledge and willingness to help make it all possible, we couldn't have done it without you.

Thanks guys! As we all know theres always some bad with the good. I had a chance to look at his car tonight and discovered what I think may have caused his car to slow down some at the end of the race, apparently during one of his wheelstand shows the front of the car got busted. So we are starting over tonight, maybe we cand find some more speed in the process. I talked to the host of the council race and he said they should be running a 4 lane Bestteack so I may sneek some fenders on this one!

Little Man took 4th. We are back and very pleased to say Lukas came home with a 4th place trophy and a smile.Very little time sepperated the top 5 so it was some pretty good racing (minus the expected after check in tweeking). I am a very proud scout daddy!
