Try putting a k-house groove on the rear axles. Instead of pushing straight in, sometimes you can give it a little twist and adjust your gaps more precisely. It will also help with the rear axle removal for re-prep.
Oh, and you will have to re-prep your axles to a point after k house grooving them if they are the regular 92x. If you want to push your axles in without a K house groove, the next best thing I have found is using the back of a sharpie marker. The axle head fits in that crater pretty well then you can give it a push.

With the 92TXs, though, you shouldn't even need to do that. Since the nail head doesn't ever actually touch the rotating part of the wheel, just grab it with pliers and twist away.
