My BASX's stability issue may likely be the 3/8"-7/16" ish COM. I had the 2 rows of 6 cubes front and back of the axle as far back as possible. I set the steer at 4" over 4'. My wheel gaps were also pretty tight. I don't have a gauge to get an exact measurement.
Now in my re prep I slid the front 2 rows of 6 up to get COM to 1/2". I plan to set steer back at 4". Does this sound like a reasonable plan? I also got some delrin washers that I was planning to install as well. I previously was using some monokote.
I also finally picked up some red rocket. Otherwise I was planning to leave the wheels alone and just tune the weight and steer and put it back in the box the the next race.
