If I weigh in too heavy, am I DQ'd or would the organizer be able to remove a little tungsten putty to adjust?

My scale at 5 oz vs our pack scale yesterday was close, but +- .1 oz on some cars

Typically John can make adjustments if they are easy enough to make. I wouldn't expect him to drill on a car though.

cant speak for John or Downslope, but if there is putty on it and its too heavy, i will pull a bit off for the Feb. and Sept. race.

If you have not raced as of yet at Rocky Mtn Just make sure the putty is easy to get too, and have a clear legible phone number on your entry form. DD4H will call you. Even the day of the race. So many new people forget to put there phone number down and if there is a problem DD4H hands are tied.

Thanks guys. I have a 1/16" gap over a small tungsten cylinder left for putty. Plan to cover it with tape.

DD4H has been doing this for a while & knows all scales don't weigh the same like Sogone said make sure they can get a hold of you they make every effort to make sure you race
