It was 7". It was tall in the rear.That shark car looks to be over 7". Is that why it was allowed to run, but backwards?

Shark Car was built by my son (7) and myself for Cub Scouts (he wanted a shark). I wanted to show a wedge can be fast too. We are entered in the World Championship in NY. If anyone who saw it run has any tips for improvement I would be glad to hear them. This is our first car so be kind. Also I noticed most cars ran reflective film on the bottom .. we were painted flat black, What film are the cars using? Thank You for a Great Race.. Paul
