Race video and results!

That shark car looks to be over 7". Is that why it was allowed to run, but backwards?

Shark Car 1.JPG

Shark Car was built by my son (7) and myself for Cub Scouts (he wanted a shark). I wanted to show a wedge can be fast too. We are entered in the World Championship in NY. If anyone who saw it run has any tips for improvement I would be glad to hear them. This is our first car so be kind. Also I noticed most cars ran reflective film on the bottom .. we were painted flat black, What film are the cars using? Thank You for a Great Race.. Paul

Curious - why did you enter this into the Pro Division instead of the open Scout divisions?

I wanted to see how we stack up against the best ! I will also be at the Pine Wood Derby World Championship in New York and wanted to see where I need improvement.

Good for you guys for jumping in! For your Scout's cars, you might consider entering him into the Scout divisions next year so he'd have a better shot at winning...though from what I'm told he'd still be competing against some of the best. Lol

Hope to see you guys on the track again soon! Good luck in NYC!
