I'm about to try (re-try) my oil prep process. /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif
One of the things I noticed in previous attempts was I would end up with residual polish in the recessed area of the inner portion of the hub and in the inner section of the wheel face where the axle head seats. (in the crease).
I'm also going to use the DD4H wheel bore polish to polish these two areas.
After washing in alcohol, I used canned air to blow these off... I don't have a compressor. Obviously, that was not enough to remove the residual.
Anyone have any thoughts of suggestions for removing this. I'm hoping this may have been part of the problem contaminating my previous attempts.
