Ok guys, here is the report card.
1st in the Wolves for District.
3rd overall speed for District.
He ran a 2.55 for a scale speed of 199 mph.
The 2 faster kids did a 199.9 mph.
Now here is the funny thing. When they did the runoff of the top 2 speed guys for the Overall Title, they both ran over 200 mph scale. During the racing, neither did that fast and there was no reprep. The overall speed champ reset the track record...twice. He got faster on the last run.
Am I displeased? Not at all. This was a heck of a great year for us. We went from 3rd in the Pack as Tigers to 1st in Wolves at District. The Pack did awesome as we took 3 out of the 4 1st place trophies. I am being told that it is the 1st time in 6 years that the prior host Pack has been beaten at District. Oh, they were beaten on their own track in Tigers and Bears. We ran parallel tracks.

I ran the Pit/Repair area. The biggest issue was overweight and the 2nd was wheels not touching. We run 4 on the floor. I will say that everybody was qualified before the races started. My son now wants to do the Mid-America and the NPWDRL.
