Rough stop section?

I don't think to many proxy racers have paid that much attention to how the cars stop in the stop section because the live feed and videos don't show it. Thanks for the stop section video! Looks pretty smooth.

Could anybody educate me as to what the "stone cold stop section" was? I am only familiar with the Best Track version. I would just like to learn.

Thanks

BTW, based on my limited knowledge, I think John's stop section looks quite smooth.

The bottom of the track gently falls away until the bottom of the car is resting on the rail to stop. In the Besttrack stop section, the track abruptly drops out from under the car and the car "falls" onto the rail. By falls, the car drops approximately 1/4"before the bottom of the car comes in contact with the rail, but that in it of itself should not be considered rough. We all have the Besttrack stop section. The StoneCold Stop Section was a nice piece of engineering...

Thanks for the explanation. So with some extrapolation, then the Stone Cold version probably was a little longer length?
